City of Ember- The Beginning

We have started a new adventure in a strange new place called Ember. The author is very good at using words to paint a picture of the characters and the setting in this book. Tell me some things that you already know about Ember, Lina, or Doon just from listening to the description of the setting and characters. Think about how Ember is different from Branson. Please include at least 3 details from the book.

i like the part when the people got tere jobs and wheb they traded jobs it was cool . i like this book !
branson is diffrent from ember because ember does not have sun ,light ,electricicty ,cars ,and telephones. i like the part when the classmates got there jobs and when doon traded jobs with lina and when lina went to the messenger headquarter’s. this story is fun so far .
ember is a very dark place.Ember is difrent from branson becouse ember has less lighting.And one detail is that the mayer tells owmost all the jobs that the kids got.

Ember has no sunlight. Ember has no cars. in ember kids gets jobs when thier 12.
Ember is way diffrent then Branson because theres no sun! All there light comes from light bulbs!There jobs are way diffrent then ours like messenger…ect.ect.And there is something about Ember that you can’t relly put you’re finger on…
Amber has no sun light . They finish school
when they are 12 . And have no cars . I like the
part when Lina went to the maors ofece . And
went up the stairs and saw a door and opened it

The people in Ember depend on the generator for the only light and thers only one. Ember is olso runnig out of light bulbs.

the kid,s go home at 2,15 and they go to school at 6,20 am and they sheth job,s branson has a BETER JERATOR.
My teacher is reading a new book called…. THE CITY OF EMBER. It’s about a town that has no sunlight or sunshine and, you can’t go to school till your 12 years old and, in the book I heard that some of the apartments have pictues of soup cans on the wall. I know that it’s a fiction story but amagine if our town was like that I would be sad and we would had to go to school till were 12 I’d think it would be a 100% hard to have that kind of thing in our town. O.K amagine that we had gray clouds and, soup can pictures on the wall or no sun light.

WE ARE STATING A NEW STOEY CALLED THE CITY OF EMBER IT IS A STORY ABOUT A POUR CITY THAT DOSN’T HAVE THAT MUCH LIGHT AND BY READING WE LEARND THAT THERE IS MORE THAN 8 jENARATOUR’S IN EMBER. AND WHEN WE FINSHED WE TALKE ABOUT jENARATOUR’S
The city of ember is differet because they don’t have fun things like we do . And Amber doeset even have a sun.And the kids at that school are only there for 12 days.People never came to ember because no one has ever bin to ember only the people that lived in ember.
City of Ember is diferint from Missouri because they have no sun. City of Ember school is strang because you do 1 grad and you end school wean you are 12. Ther Electricity is going low in Ember.
I like the new book the City Of Ember its very mysterious!
Its so creepy how they don’t have really any sun or heat
and its is also so werd how they have to start working at
12 years old!,I can’t belive that!I would be so MAD!

3. Were have peoplo that are wealthier.
Now you should understand the differance!
By the way you and I both know I would so not like to be
