Yesterday we spent a lot of time talking about how rock throwing could lead to war, and disaster. We are beginning to see how Tick might be influencing what is happening in the story. Doon seems hesitant to make weapons and fight…is he a coward? What do you think will happen if the people follow Tick? What would happen if Doon spoke up? If Doon and Tick were running for president, and you could vote…who would you vote for, and why? Use details about their character from the book to help you explain your answer.

I would vote for doon because he is more muture and he always stays on track but tick is less muture and always does not stay on track.
I think that Tick should be presedent, because doon is not always confedent about making speaches. And Tick knows what he’s doing. So If there was a presedent I would vote for Tick.

I think Doon should be president because in the book it says that Doon takes things seriusly and, Tick really doesn’t sometimes. Doon always tells the truth and, Tick sometimes doesn’t tell the truth. So thats why I think Doon should be president.
I think Doon should be presedent because Tick does something great but never finishes it. And Doon doesn’t want to hurt the people of Sparks.So if I could vote for either Doon or Tick, I would vote for Doon.
I would have to say I would vote for Doon, 1st of all he’s more mature even though he dosen’t make that many
speeches like Tick but Tick dose have some problems like that to so I’d rather vote for Doon anyway. Plus Tick is all
about vilense and that’s not very cool! Tick will start something and never finsh it.

i think doon becuse he is a team leder. hes kind to people . and he speks the truth when people need the truth. and tick likes being in charge and geting peopole hiped up about somthing and he dose it again and again and again.

I think doon because when he messes up he tries to fix it .doon dosen’t just give up like tick dose . he works hard & doon is honest tick isn’t.
If I had to vote for Doon or Tick I would vot for Doon because he is very respctful and responsabull. Also if he starts something he will finsh it. If Doon thinnks something he is not afrade to say it.

i think doon should be president because in the book you know that doon takes things sireus and tick doesnt really. doon try`s to calm big mobes down and tick try`s to keep them arguing and mad. doon and the people of ember had to do all the cleaning and tick didn`t help.
I think that Doon should be preasdent because he is honst and reapectful even though he does not talk.Tick lies alot and is not respectful and not honest.

I think that I want to chang my vote and vote for Doon. Because Tick wanted to strike back and thats wrong. So If I were to vote I’d vote for Doon. He’s also nice.

want to fight or leave so. Doon might tell ben to agree not to fight and not for Ember to leave. And thats why I think Doon shood be. Presedent and nicer then tick.
