Yesterday in our book, Hector woke up and the stone he had dug up was glowing! It led him to the dig site, right to the pit where the human bones had been found. What is that stone? Why did it lead him to that pit? What do you think Hector will do next?

I think that the stone is a egg of some kind. I think it led him to the pit because it wants him to dig right there. I think Hecter will go back to bed then the next day he will dig right there.
I think that the stone might not be a stone, maybe It’s a peteriphyed human eye. And maybe that’s where the rest of the body is. And maybe it could be a dig site. I think knowing Hector that he’ll tell E`tore. The stone also might be the city under gounds helping rock.
I think that he will find more bones in the trench.

The stone acted as if it was like a compass. The anwser to what is that stone was the evil eye. The anwser to why did the stone led him to the dig with the human bones is maybe that the eye might of been part of that statue. And I think Hector will go in the dig with the eye and dig with the scraper and the brush and fing more bones. Did you know the eutruscans were a long name and really were greek.
i don’t think that the stone is a stone i think it’s a skull . because it’s got a red glow so maybe that person could . be alive . why i think he’s been took to the bones is becuse he could be the chosen one to where he figures out why the boys following & the boys following him because thats he can figure out the mystery . hector will figure out the mystreyus mystery
Probaly when he was lying around at the dig sight the light led Hector to the bright flashing stone. I think what happend next that Hector found another thing in his dream and it was diffrent than a stone. Probaly Hector would find something prehistoric.
I think the stone is something that the anchent people put in the ground with dead people for the after life. The stone lead him to the pit because the stone wants the dead people that are in there. I think that Hector will barry it before his mom notices him, because Hector doesn’t want to anger it.

I have to say maybe it’s one of those stones that is ment to be there like something that welll like a clue. Yah, thats it a clue, yah thats what I was looking for well any-way I think its a clue stone or well something like that. Why it lead him to the where it did well I think its because theres something in the dig that him or someone like him needs to find out, like maybe the stone wants him to dig and so maybe he’s going to find a hisstorical land mark or maybe some gold, you never know. Next I think he’s going to go down in the dig and look around and then I do not no what he will do next.
I think that the stone lead him to a curse. I think the eye is the eye to the bones.I hope he won’t jabuse any thing and gose home.If his MoM finds out he’s gone she will freak out.But if something happens to himHE”‘LL freak and so will his MoMAtora would Be sad without his diging partner!……..
Hey everyone! This is tuff well anyway I think the stone is an human eye that has been with nature so long that it got peteriphyed. The E.E (evil eye) probably led it to that trench because it wanted him to discover or find something down in the trench. For my third anser… Well, we already read what he did next so if I didn’t know what he did next, I would say this: Maybe he would go into the trench. And I was right!!! Bye:)

the rook must be like some maigc stone that leeds people to things.mabe so he can figure out why the bones where there or so he can dig more to find more stuff. dig to find more abut why the stone led him there or so he can dream about it. plus mabe he might come back or met that kid he dreams about. he can mabe find somethin lse that will help him.
I think maybe it gloow because the bones were growing skin to be another person in the world!
